Durban Poison is a classic outdoor and indoor variety that is strong enough for outdoor cultivation on the extreme northern or southern latitudes. During the breeding history the Durban was crossed with unknown indica genetics. Durban may initially develop broad indica-shaped leaves, but the growth pattern may dominate Sativa's influence at a later stage, with long buds and slender, sativa-like leaves. Durban Poison is ready for harvest after 8-9 weeks of indoor cultivation. Outside it can grow up to 2-3 meters high and is harvested at the beginning of autumn. When Durban gets sufficient root space, she will produce heavy, resinous buds. The development of the plant, the appearance of the harvest and its exciting high are characteristic of a sativa.

Durban Poison has a spicy, faint taste, with hints of anise, licorice and clove. The buds are often dark green and resistant to fungi and vermin. Very powerful and consistent, with good returns.
