Hawaiian magic mushrooms spores
OverviewHawaiian magic mushrooms spores
Mushroom spore vials are bottled under sterile conditions and should be stored dark and refrigerated (2-8 ° C) for longer spore life.
Vials vs. Spraying
Mushroom spore vials are superior to spore syringes in most respects. The use of a copelandia cyanescens spore vial results in better results during colonization and fruiting.
Why choose bottles:
Longer lifespan than most spore syringes (2 years versus 6 months.)
It is easier to use ALL tracks. Syringes made of plastic with contents are often charged with static electricity after being stored for a while. This will leave traces in the syringe. Glass vials do not have this, so 100% of the spores can be used.
Works great with liquid culture medium. Spore syringes may contain a mixture unsuitable for use with liquid culture medium.
Spore vials contain a solution with a high concentration of spores. For example, there are more than 1000 growth particles per milliliter (gpp ml.) Compared to 500 gpp ml. or even less in spore syringes.
Easier to transport.
Takes up less space.
Professional appearance.

How to use a copelandia cyanescens spore vial

The vial has a lid with a septum. This is a rubber ring that can only be pierced with a sharp object, such as the tip of a needle. The septum itself is covered with a plastic protective cap.
Shake the copelandia cyanescens spore vial vigorously to distribute the spores evenly within the vial. Remove the plastic cap and disinfect the septum with an alcohol swab. Remove the packaging from the syringe. Then remove the needle cap and immediately pierce the needle through the septum.
The needle of the syringe must be immersed in the trace solution. Pull back the syringe plunger to fill the syringe with the trace solution. Only 3 milliliters of spore solution is needed to colonize 1 liter of substrate. When the syringe is filled with the desired amount of trace solution, gently withdraw the needle until the needle is out of the vial. The septum automatically seals the vial.
From here there are several methods to proceed:
Examine and study traces through a microscope
From a scientific point of view, all Psilocybe cubensis are the same, but they look slightly different (phenotype) and have a slightly different maturation time. There are numerous Psilocybe cubensis that have different phenotypes. These different cubensis are not considered a subspecies, but a different species. Copelandia cyanescens is a 'strain' of Psilocybe cubensis.
The different phenotypes can be seen with the naked eye, but the real beauty can only be seen properly with a microscope. The wonderful world of the tracks. Many of our customers are scientists or admirers who research these differences at home in their own laboratories. After you have prepared the slides, add some of the copelandia cyanescens spore solution. Cover the sample with a coverslip. The best way to do trace research of Copelandia cyanescens and Panaeolus cyanescens is with a magnification of 1,000 times or more.
Spread spore solution over substrate
After you have prepared or purchased sterile substrate or so-called "cakes", you can inject the Ecuador trace solution directly from the syringe. Press the plunger to spray the spore solution onto the substrate. Every drop of the spore solution is a potential mycelial growth point from which colonization begins. It is important to distribute the spore solution well over the entire cake or substrate. The mycelium can thus develop faster and better.
Inject through injection ports
This technique is almost identical to distributing the Spore Solution over the substrate. Open the plastic shutter on an injection port if it is present. Use an alcohol swab to disinfect the injection port. Insert the needle of the filled syringe through the injection port and syringe as previously mentioned, using the trace solution in proportion to the contents of the incubator or culture kit. After injecting the copelandia cyanescens spore solution, withdraw the needle from the port and reseal the port if a plastic shutter is present.
Liquid culture medium for faster colonization and stronger mycelium
When the copelandia cyanescens spore solution is placed on a culture medium, such as liquid culture medium, the spores will develop into mycelium. Liquid culture medium is also called liquid culture or LC. Cakes and substrates can be injected with these active LCs. When an LC is used, the spores have an even higher chance of germinating. Use the liquid culture medium with the copelandia cyanescens trace solution
