Artemisia Absinthium
The buds of the rare plant Artemisia Absinthium have become known as a component of the infamous strength drink Absinthe. This brought peace and creativity to many artists, including Van Gogh. The useful plant was even banned for a while because it was said to induce hallucinations.
The strikingly bitter herb has traditionally been used medicinally. Especially for digestive problems and stomach complaints.
