Growing guide for Cubensis Grow Sets
Welcome! Growing mushrooms with our Cubensis Growkits is simple and rewarding if you follow these clear steps. We will guide you through the entire process, from preparation to harvest. Don't worry - you will certainly succeed!

Important before you start
Always work in a clean environment to prevent contamination. Wash your hands thoroughly and make sure that all surfaces, including the tap and sink, are sterile. Growkits are sensitive to infection, so hygiene is very important.

The right breeding place is also important: choose a hygienic, draft -free and fungal -free place in the house with a constant temperature. Provide a place with sufficient daylight, but without direct sunlight. Never put the kit on the floor to prevent contamination.

To give you the best breeding experience, we have included a hygienic growbag. Do you choose to work with your own materials or to follow a different method than our GrowGuide? Keep in mind that we cannot guarantee the quality of your harvest.

Step 1: Preparation and setup
Remove the lid from the breeding set and place it separately - you need it later.

Step 2: Make holes
Use a clean fork to carefully make holes in the top of the substrate. About 6-8 rows is sufficient. This helps the substrate to absorb better water.

Step 3: Waking the kit
Fill the kit with clean, lukewarm water, place the lid back, and let the kit soak for 1 hour.

Step 4: The drains of excess water
After soaking, remove the lid and carefully pour out all the excess water. Drain the kit for about 10 seconds.

Step 5: Prepare the breeding bag
Pour approximately 0.25l clean, lukewarm water (0.5L for the 2100cc kit) into the breeding bag. Then place the breeding set in it and make sure that the water does not cross the substrate.

Step 6: Close the breeding bag
Close the breeding bag by folding the top and securing and securing with the supplied paper clip.

Step 7: First growth phase
Place the kit in a well -lit place (but avoid direct sunlight). Keep the bag closed until you see front pins. This can take 1-4 weeks, depending on the temperature. In this phase, the kit needs a high CO₂ content, so be patient and keep the bag closed.

Step 8: Maintaining growth
As soon as the front pins appear, you can open the bag briefly daily to let in fresh air. Spray the inner sides of the bag of clean water (spray 1-2 times). Don't spray directly on the mushrooms.

Step 9: Harvest
If the membrane starts to tear under the hat, it's time to harvest. Carefully loosen the mushrooms from the base and pull them out.

Ready for the second flush
After your first harvest you can have your grow kit soaked again and give a 'cold shock' to make a second growth round ('flush') possible. To start this second flush, clean the surface of the substrate, fill the kit with clean, lukewarm water and put the lid on it. Put the kit in the fridge overnight and then continue from step 4.
